The reception was very well attended and Jane Banzhof did a wonderful job of coordinating with members to bring a variety of finger food. 145 pieces were hung, it was one of the largest shows that I have ever seen at Echter’s; the work was hung on the wood lattice panels, the metal grids and additionally along the back wall.

The artwork was judged on the Friday before the reception by Janet Nunn. She was not able to be at the reception to present the awards but was gracious enough to provide a write-up of her thoughts regarding her selections. 53 artists participated.

A memorial award was presented in Jude’s name to Susan Wachter, Jan Archuleta spoke about her friendship with Jude through the years and members of Jude’s family were in attendance.
