Watercolor Demo on Figures

Teddy Schmedeke Lee

Teddy paints figures in six major mediums. Having a BFA in Painting and Drawing with honors (2001), and being trained assistant for Philip J. Steele @ Rocky Mountain College of Art (1997), she has been an instructor, juror, and media demonstrator and workshop leader in many venues in the Denver area. She is currently a Life Drawing and Anatomy Instructor for the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver.

She has been media instructor for North Jefferson County and Foothills Recreation and Parks Districts, Clements Lakewood Senior Center, Lakewood Arts Center (LAC), and Arrowhead Gallery in Golden (closed 2004). She has served as juror for Golden Fine Arts Festival 2002-5 and for LAC -- and has done many demos and workshops for LAC; Wheat Ridge Art League; and Heritage, Paint Box, Mountainside and Arvada Art Guilds. Numerous awards for subject matter and use of media have come her way. She advises that "practice" is the key to great art work.. Her work can be seen by clicking on her name above and at my.rmcad.edu in her eportfolio on this 'digication' site.
