After specializing in pet portraits for 25 years, I decided to try my hand at creating landscape scenes and paintings a variety of animals.  Using my own landscape photographs and/or photographs of animals given to me by my friends, I use the rich colors and the wonderful texture of pastels to create my works of art.  It is an exciting and rewarding experience each time I paint using techniques and my imagination to lead me into a finished painting, transforming a blank piece of paper into a unique piece of art.
